#RideHomeforRosemary

Follow my transcontinental bike ride to honour my mother, Rosemary Marziliano, and to support palliative care cancer patients.

My name is Adrian Marziliano and I am on an epic bicycle adventure to support the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation in honour of my mother, Rosemary Marziliano, who passed away from colon cancer in 2010.

I am riding my bike from Santiago, Chile to Toronto, Canada; a journey that will span almost 15,000 kilometres and include 13 countries!

Supporting palliative care

I have chosen to support palliative care cancer patients with my ride. My mother was in the kind hands of palliative care workers for many months, and it was with their help that she was able to live at home and in peace before passing away. Soon we will put an end to cancer, but, in the meantime, we need to take care of those who may not get a chance at a cure. All proceeds donated will go directly to palliative care at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. It is important to me to that I stress that no money donated will be funding my ride.
